BOY!
About baby: according to The Bump our little man is about the size of a banana, measuring about 6 1/2 inches from head to bottom (10 inches from head to heel) and weighing in around 10.6 oz. I've been feeling a lot more movement over the past few weeks and for the first time this week, I saw movement, which was really cool. He would hardly hold still for the tech to get measurements today. Maybe we're going to have a squirmy little guy! According to today's ultrasound, he is a very healthy baby. Strong heartbeat, average size, healthy brain and bloodflow, and all of that other good stuff. Praise God for that.
About mama: I'm definitely in the 2nd trimester happy place. For the most part, my energy is up and I'm feeling pretty good. A bit more heartburn these days, but nowhere near to the torture that Anna put me through - yet anyway. This past week I started feeling a bit more of the uncomfortable poking as baby gets bigger and starts running out of space to swim as freely. I feel like he is sitting really low, but the tech says he doesn't seem to be. Maybe it's a third baby thing?
About the fam: Kevin was there for the ultrasound and was as excited as me to find out the news. We both would have been thrilled either way, it's just nice to know. At least we think so anyway ;) Anna has been loving on baby a lot more recently. We were really excited to be able to tell her that she was having another little brother. And I really LOVE that she can call him by name. I think that makes it much more real to her. Now, she can stop calling the baby Lucie, which she thinks is the name of every baby in a mama's belly thanks to her experience with Miss Curry :)
Here are some highlights from the ultrasound. The first is the money shot. I spared him the future embarrassment of including the Boy! arrow pic.

He was trying to suck on both of his hands for a good while. Maybe we'll finally have a kid that will take a pacifier?
I think this one is my favorite. Hello, sweet boy :)
And here's one last profile shot for the records :)
